About Us
The Somali Assistive Technology Institute (SATI) is an independent, impartial, and non-profit training and research center dedicated to empowering blind and visually impaired individuals in Somalia through modern technology and digital literacy. Established in 2020 in Mogadishu, SATI provides specialized training in computers, smartphones, screen readers, and other assistive technologies that enhance independence, communication, education, and employment. The institute serves as a hub of empowerment and innovation, enabling students to gain essential skills to thrive in the digital era.
